Executive Summary

The Situation:Dreamline Dental required a comprehensive digital management platform, including a client-facing frontend and a secure, data-heavy administrative portal. Right before kickoff, our agency faced a critical resource bottleneck regarding backend engineering.

The Mandate:Rather than delay the project, I assumed the role of Lead Full-Stack Architect. I took absolute ownership of the entire software development lifecycle—from UI/UX design and Next.js frontend rendering, to building a NestJS backend from the ground up and orchestrating the AWS cloud deployment.

The Result:The platform was delivered on schedule with zero architectural compromises. The seamless integration between the frontend and the new backend resulted in exceptionally high client satisfaction and set a new standard for full-stack delivery within our team.

The most significant challenge was the absence of a dedicated DevOps and backend team. I had to architect a secure, scalable backend and cloud environment from scratch while simultaneously managing frontend deliverables, QA, and HIPAA-compliant data routing.

First-Principles Engineering

I applied first-principles system design to rapidly master and implement NestJS and AWS services. By relying on strict official documentation, I designed a normalized relational database schema in AWS RDS, built a secure REST API in NestJS, and integrated AWS S3 buckets with pre-signed URLs for secure medical document handling.
